Open
the aluminum bag only when ready to use.
1. Tear open the aluminum bag (A) and
remove the PowerCartridge.
2.
Connect the SmartCord (B) to the PowerCartridge (C). The charge
indicator light (D) will turn green.
3. Connect the SmartCord to the charging port (E) of your phone.
Make sure the air holes of the Cartridge are not blocked. Do not
place the Cartridge in tight pockets.
4. If your cellphone has a charging indicator, verify that it
is charging - this can take a minute. It is normal for the Cartridge
to become warm while charging.
5. You can now use your phone while it is charging. Talking while
charging consumes significantly more energy than is needed for
charging only, and reduces the capacity available for charging.
Charging with the cellphone switched off will increase the capacity
available for charging.
6. Charging time is controlled by a pre-set timer. Depending on
your phone, it will automatically stop after one to two hours
and the charge indicator light will turn red. To stop charging
sooner, simply disconnect the SmartCord from the PowerCartridge.
To extend charging time simply disconnect the SmartCord from the
Cartridge and reconnect it.
7. Once charging is complete, disconnect the SmartCord from both
the cellphone and the Cartridge. Promptly store the PowerCartridge
in the reclosable aluminum pouch (F), making sure it is sealed
properly. It is important that the SmartCord is disconnected from
the Cartridge when stored, to prevent unnecessary draining of
the Cartridge.
8. The PowerCartridge can be used for up to three charges within
a three month period.
9. If the green light on the charge indicator goes out when the
PDA is connected, the PowerCartridge is empty (not applicable
to Samsung phones).
